About

George is an artist, costume designer and maker from Abergavenny, South Wales.

George’s multi-disciplinary practice spans sculpture, textile works, live performance and costume design. Alongside their individual art practice they regularly work on commissions collaborating closely with choreographers and companies to costume contemporary dance works. 

Their work has been commissioned and shown by organisations such as g39, National Museum Cardiff, Green Man Festival and National Dance Company Wales, with their costume work being a part of programmes that have toured nationally and internationally to leading institutions and festivals of dance. 

Making and sewing are at the centre of their work and they have a decade of experience in costume and set fabrication for their own projects, other artists and theatre companies.
